Connects the Bleeder to Your Vehicle

The adapter creates the sealed connection between your vehicle’s master cylinder reservoir and the AGM Brake Pressure Bleeder.

Once connected, the Brake Pressure Bleeder can apply controlled pressure at the reservoir, helping push fresh brake fluid through the system so old fluid and air can be removed at each bleeder screw.

Frequently asked questions

What does this Brake Bleeder Adapter do?

This adapter connects a compatible brake master cylinder reservoir to the AGM Brake Pressure Bleeder, creating the sealed connection needed for one-person pressure bleeding.

Does this adapter fit every vehicle?

No. Brake reservoir designs vary by vehicle year, trim, brake system, and reservoir supplier. Always check the fitment notes and compare your reservoir before ordering.

Why are adapters sold separately?

Master cylinder reservoirs vary widely between vehicles. Selling adapters separately lets you buy the adapter that fits your vehicle instead of paying for parts you do not need.

Can I use the AGM Brake Pressure Bleeder without an adapter?

No. The correct adapter is required to create a sealed connection between the Brake Pressure Bleeder and your master cylinder reservoir.

What happens if the adapter does not seal?

If the adapter does not seal properly, the system may not hold pressure and the Brake Pressure Bleeder will not work correctly. Stop and confirm that you have the correct adapter before continuing.

For the universal round reservoir adapter, loosen, adjust the position of the adapter and tighten the thumb knob again to seal.

Always check an adapter seals properly before leaving the engine bay to perform your brake bleed.

How do I know which adapter I need?

Check the Fitment Guide, compare your reservoir cap or reservoir opening, and review any measurements listed on the product page. If you are unsure, contact AGM before ordering.

Can AGM help me choose the correct adapter?

Yes. Contact AGM with your vehicle information and, when possible, photos or measurements of your brake reservoir. We will help point you toward the best adapter option.

What if I discover another vehicle this adapter fits?

Please let us know. Fitment information is built from known applications, customer feedback, and ongoing testing. Additional confirmed applications help us improve the Fitment Guide.

They Corrected My Stupidity.

I had ended up purchasing the wrong part. Called to see if I could exchange it. Absolutely. And they even took the time to figure out what I should have bought instead. Smooth transaction. The part arrived promptly and worked like a charm. Brakes are bled. Everyone is happy!

Doesn't work on a 2006 S197 Mustang GT

The o-ring diameter is too small and does not seal on the master cylinder reservoir. The compatibility chart says the 1495 model supposedly works on 2000-2025 Mustangs, but it doesn't.

Wrong cap, made a mess

The pressurized chemistry worked OK,. I struggled to get air pressure into it due to the air fitting that came with the kit,. The biggest problem was that I ordered a cap for Toyota, but apparently the cap that shipped was the wrong diameter by a tiny amount so when I pressurized the master cylinder it forced brake fluid everywhere. I wasted 2 quarts of brake fluid and made a bloody mess in my street trying to fix the problem.

Karl, Sorry to hear that you are having troubles. Looking at your invoice, you order part# AGM-BPB-1495 which is only for specific Ford / Hyundai / Kia / Mitsubishi / Nissan and Subaru applications. If you are bleeding brakes on a Toyota you actually wanted to order part#AGM-BPB-1496. We will reach out to you by email to help you with the exchange.
